The Museum of Malaga is one of the 63 Spanish museums of state ownership and regional management, in this case transferred to the Junta de Andalucía. Its perfect location in the centre of the city, next to such emblematic places as the Alcazaba, the Cathedral or the Roman Theatre, make the Museum a meeting place and contemporary cultural enjoyment. In addition, it is an example of a sustainable building characterized by excellent conservation conditions by taking advantage of the features of the place.

Today the Museum consists of a library, a shop, a café and a modern and elegant restaurant.
